Tammie’s passion for art is not just a career but a calling that has grown and evolved over the years. As a young child, an illness kept her inside, where she spent countless hours drawing and painting animals. She missed being outside enjoying nature, and eventually, she was well and could take walks in the country while her dad ran his hunting dogs. Her family camped and fished, and the time outdoors gave her an awe and appreciation for the natural world, a connection that continues to inspire her art.

Tammie strives to embody the glory of God in every brushstroke, opening windows to a world where hope blooms and joy dances in the vibrant colors of nature. She loves to create art that expresses the untamed beauty of landscapes and seascapes, the delicate charm of flowers, and the spirited essence of animals. Her art invites people into beauty and reflection, offering moments of peace and tranquility in a noisy world. She believes God is the ultimate creator and source of beauty and goodness. Tammie and her husband live in Northeast Oklahoma, with her daughter, son-in-law, and grandson just a few blocks away. Her two-room studio is filled with computers for digital work, art supplies, and painting easels. Two large windows bring in natural light, allowing her to enjoy nature's view as she creates her art.
